Becky
is our chiropractic Office Manager and Billing Specialist. She came to AZ Chiropractic as an extern from Pima Medical Institute in the summer of 2013. The billing position opened up shortly after she graduated and she has been such a great addition, we promoted her to Office Manager. In her free time, she can be found with her four kids and grandson. She also enjoys crafts and photography.
Nicole
operates the front desk, taking calls, making appointments, and generally keeps things running smoothly. She enjoys getting to know all our patients and helping them continue their care with us. Her hobbies include nail art, long boarding, hiking, bird watching, and astrology.
Christine
graduated from Arizona School of Massage Therapy as a licensed Massage Therapist in 2010 and has worked for Dr. Hirst ever since. She loves being part of a team that promotes healing. Her favorite thing in the whole world is spending time with her two teenagers! Christine also loves to travel, create things, and spend time with friends and family. It is said that when a patient falls asleep, it is a great compliment to a massage therapist. Once, when Christine was massaging a great, big body builder, he fell asleep mid-sentence and began to dream. He was speaking gibberish and kicking and flailing his legs. At the end of the massage, he didn’t remember a thing, but had a great laugh when told about his actions!
Kristyn
is one of our Massage Therapists. She graduated from the massage therapy program at Pima Medical Institute in 2013. Watching patients leave feeling better than when they came in is one of her favorite things about her job. It makes coming to work everyday rewarding and fun. She is an Arizona native and in her spare time enjoys hiking, running, yoga, dancing, lifting, and interior design.
Kim
is one of our licensed Massage Therapists. She has been working in health care since 2009 and still loves her job! She is currently working on a degree at Chandler Gilbert Community College, but if she ever has free time, she likes to spend time with her family and friends, and try new things she’s never done before. We’re glad she’s part of our team!
Leisa
is our in-house medical assistant, taking care of patients who need allergy testing or blood draws. For many years, Leisa worked in a facility that manufactured medical devices. One day, she decided that she would rather work directly with the patients; something more hands-on. She graduated from Pima Medical Institute and is now enjoying every aspect of her career. Being part of a team that helps people feel better makes Leisa happy to come to her job every day. When she’s not at work, Leisa enjoys hiking, camping, reading, roller skating, singing with her church worship team, and spending time with her grandkids.
Ana
joined our staff as a massage therapist and we are glad to have her. Her broad range of interests and certification as a life coach make her an asset to our team. Ana completed the Masters in Massage program at the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts. She is excellent at myofascial release, perinatal, trigger point, sports therapy, and deep tissue massages. Drawing and dancing are high on the list of things to enjoy on a day off, but most of all, she wants to see people happy and laughing.
Ana
is one of our wonderful massage therapists. Needing a change of scenery, Ana actually relocated to Phoenix to attend the Arizona School of Massage Therapy several years ago and the rest is history. Her favorite thing about being a massage therapist is that she knows she is making a difference in her patients’ lives. Helping them heal or relieving the stress from their muscles makes her day! In her free time, she loves to have fun with her family.
Kim
is the LMT at our Paradise Valley location and we have really enjoyed having her on staff. Finding herself unemployed during the recession several years ago, Kim decided it was time for a career change and went back to school at Gateway Community College. She has 15 years of experience and loves helping patients reach their wellness goals. Her hobby is creating windchimes and hand painted ornaments from antique silverware.
April
has recently joined our team as the receptionist in our Paradise Valley office. It was a stroke of luck and great timing that brought her to us. Her coworkers have done a great job of training her and April is a wonderful addition to our staff. She loves working with people and is a smiling face that welcomes patients when they visit us. In her spare time, April likes to bake, binge watch Netflix, craft, and spend time with her friends and family.
