Dr. Hirst's Journey into Chiropractic Care

Timothy Hirst's introduction to chiropractic care began in his youth, growing up amidst the farmlands of Idaho. At the age of 15, following a serious ATV accident, he endured intense back pain. Several visits to his family's chiropractor led to a complete recovery, sparking his lifelong interest in healthcare and igniting his passion for helping others achieve full rehabilitation.

Dr. Hirst's Educational Background and Professional Experience

Dr. Hirst pursued his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University before earning his Doctorate in Chiropractic from Southern California University of Health Sciences. Notably, this institution is one of only three chiropractic colleges in the United States recognized as a "University of Health Sciences," distinguishing itself with an evidence-based curriculum.

Following his graduate studies, Dr. Hirst gained valuable experience working in chiropractic clinics in Queen Creek and Chandler, Arizona, before founding AZ Chiropractic in June 2008.

Dr. Hirst holds certifications in the Graston™ Technique and Physical Medicine Modalities and Therapeutic Procedures. His commitment to continuous learning enables him to effectively treat patients with scar tissue and fascial restrictions, ensuring they maintain an optimal range of motion. The Graston™ Technique is clinically proven to deliver faster and more effective outcomes for both acute and chronic conditions, including Achilles Tendonitis, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Adhesive Capsulitis, IT Band Syndrome, Lumbar Strain, and Plantar Fasciitis.

As a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP), Dr. Hirst specializes in optimizing athletic performance. His advanced understanding of neurological and musculoskeletal function allows him to enhance performance across all levels, from high-level athletes to individuals engaged in everyday activities.

Dr. Hirst's Current Practice

Dr. Hirst is currently practicing at our Gilbert location, where he treats a wide variety of conditions. He thrives on the dynamic nature of his work and the challenge of addressing diverse patient needs.

Since relocating to Arizona in 2005, Dr. Hirst and his family have embraced the local lifestyle. Outside of his practice, he enjoys mechanics, gardening, camping, and, most importantly, spending quality time with his family.

What are the benefits of seeing a Chiropractor?
